2. Why We Collect Your Location

Location is one of SWIV's core features.

If you allow location services, we may use your location to:

• Show nearby bars, clubs, restaurants, and nightlife venues.
• Recommend trending locations and popular experiences near you.
• Display concerts, nightlife events, and activities happening nearby.
• Build personalized nightlife routes.
• Help show where friends are, based on their and your chosen sharing settings.
• Improve navigation and recommendations.
• Support optional safety features such as the Panic Button.

If you grant background location permission, SWIV may receive location updates while the app is running in the background to support the features you choose to use. You may change or revoke this permission at any time through your device settings.

3. Panic Button & Emergency Contacts

SWIV includes an optional Panic Button feature.

If you choose to use it:

• You may select trusted emergency contacts.
• You may customize the message that will be sent.
• Your current location and, if enabled, live location updates may be shared with those selected contacts for the duration you choose.
• You may stop or modify this feature at any time.

The Panic Button is intended to assist users in sharing their location quickly. It is not a substitute for contacting emergency services.

4. Camera & Photo Library

If you grant permission, SWIV may access your camera and photo library so you can:

• Upload profile pictures.
• Upload photos.
• Scan QR codes.
• Share content with other users.

Content you choose to share may be visible to other users in accordance with your privacy settings.

5. Contacts

If you choose to grant contact access, SWIV may use your contacts to:

• Help you find people you know who use SWIV.
• Allow you to invite selected contacts to join SWIV.
• Let you choose emergency contacts for the Panic Button feature.

SWIV uses contact information only for these purposes. We do not message your contacts without your action or permission.

6. Payments

SWIV may offer subscriptions, event tickets, concert tickets, and other purchases.

Payments are securely processed through authorized third-party payment providers. SWIV does not store your complete payment card information.
